the only reason the strike was deemed illegal is because the government passed legislation making it illegal to strike as an essential service

the video capable ipod, i've heard that it's thinner yet wider...
i think the video ipod will be great for encouraging video podcasting and video blogging... and since the video capable ipod (since the photo capable ipod came out) can be displayed on external video. Also a few months after the release of the video capable ipod... rumours are that a new version of the ipod will be released in january (rumoured to have better AV interface?)

i wouldn't buy music videos either... i really don't think music videos are the "killer app" of the video capability....

Television episodes seems to be okay as a new form of content delivery, keeping in mind external video capability. One could not subscribe to Cable Televison, rather use iTunes (or a competitive service in the future) for their content delivery. This would mean people can watch the television show on their own schedule on their regular television, surround systems, etc...

Video Podcast and Video Blogging... should be akin to subscribing to a magazine column... slowly but surely content will get better... vlogging should never be longer than a couple minutes anyways... you don't have to worry about sitting watching your ipod for long hours... rather while you're on the bus, skytrain, etc.. you can watch your favourite "magazine column" style content.

let's see where all this podcasting and video podcasting leads us =)

cheers,

Yes, yes, yes. I remember now. I do remember hearing that the B.C. Liberals were considering teaching an essential service. Which, I believe is not.

Also, I have to admit that the video iPod is pretty cool and I kinda want one. If the rumours are true about a newer iPod in the New Year then I will wait. I hear it might have a widescreen or something.

They where a ring on their finger because they don't like guys hitting on them. It's an easy way for them to get out of someone they don't like and don't know hitting on them.

also... they like having rings on their ring fingers so it's sized properly for their ring finger.. i'm suprised how many woman actually know their ring finger's ring size!

(unrelated: do you have an RSS feed that uses enclosures?)

I felt bad for the teachers though because they were put in a difficult position... but i think the government put them in a much more difficult position by making it `essential service`

I want one.. but know I should wait until I really desperately want one ... and i'm hoping that's after the rumoured revision...
mainstream media doesn't given any details... but colleagues have heard rumours that it's going to software revisions plus small changes to the hardware interface. but... only time will tell... (or spies will tell :P)
